Art Show at The Silverton Arts Association Borland Gallery in Coolidge-McClaine Park

01/03/2013

The Silverton Arts Association has invited my Dad, Jim Bornzin, to display 19 scissor cuts during January at the Borland Gallery in Coolidge-McClaine Park in Silverton, Oregon. Also featured are several oils and watercolors from my Dad’s younger days.

Dad – “I am honored and excited to have my work on display”. “The featured piece is a Three-Masted Sailing Ship which I cut in 1995 while living in Hillsboro”.

All scissor cuts are done on one connected sheet of Origami paper with scissors as small as medical scissors. If you haven’t seen this style or type of Art before you are in for a real treat (this picture really does not do the Art justice, it is simply amazing Artwork).

Please feel free to ask me any questions or contact my Dad here, or the Silverton Arts Association. I encourage you to see the show! jb
